Visual Audio Plan

Script Plan:

Newsreader beginning, take part audio from a news show like BBC, with the BBC theme tune, for breaking news about schools and colleges closing, maybe from spotlight? This is for shot 1, where the visual is looking at the college reception, making it look like the viewer is entering the college.

Shot 2: Interview Style, talking about how college life has changed, what are the new procedures? Talking about the testing during college hours. Mask wearing during classes and communal areas, what are peoples opinion on this?

Shot 3: Previous dialog, will run into this shot a bit, however most of the shot will just be the background non-diegetic sound, most likely some quiet, instrumental music. This will be mainly quiet, to reflect upon the statistics on screen, which will be relating to how much learning has been interrupted.

Shot 4: This shot is all about talking through whats on the screen, much like BBC's The Papers, where they talk through what is on the front cover, this will be most likely talking about masks in colleges and mass testing within schools and colleges as well. This will just briefly talk through what is being talked about or shown on the front cover of a couple newspapers.

Shot 5: This shot will be talking about online learning. How colleges and students have coped with moving lessons online, how effective online learning is and why people are looking forward to being back in college, to catch up on missed work, missed learning.

Shot 6: Again talking about college life and the new precautions, this shot will be looking and showing some of the precautions in place, so this will just be narrating and explaining what is happening on screen, such as when there is a picture or video showing hand sanitiser (it will be most likely someone using the sanitiser, no face, just hands). This will just be someone narrating why this is happening, why we should be doing it and how it keeps us all safe. This will be the same with all of the other precautions that will be shown.

Shot 7: Continue with montage of images, so dialog from previous shot will continue in this shot.

Shot 8: This shot will be the opposite of shot 1, will be explaining that it wont be long until pupils can return. Pupils will only be allowed to return when it is safe to do so, (backing up the idea that pupils safety and teachers safety comes first.)

Shot 9: "Stay Safe in the meantime."

Throughout the Audio Visual, there will be background, non-diegetic sound, which will be instrumental music, this is so, when there are pauses in the narrative, there isn't any awkward silences, the video should then be able to flow with some background music. The music mustn't have any words in it.

Magazine Branding design

Use geometric shapes, this is what I want the style to be for the Magazine. These shapes can be used as 'picture frames' for the original images that I have to include on the magazine. I would like to use a modern colour palette, use of a grey scale colour palette, use the negative space! (Pale orange to be used as the accent colour? Or Baby Blue?) Colours have to be Matte. I would like to use a sans serif font but I feel that the image above with the font of the masthead would work very well and would inked in my 'modern' style that I am looking to have on my magazine. So maybe use a serif font?? I want to have a minimalistic approach to the style of my magazine as I feel this is what makes magazines eye catching for 16-25 year olds, a modern looking simplistic magazine.  Magazine slogan:  By the People, For the People?? News made easier?? Excellence in Every Word?? Font: Cant decide on a font, I want a font as close to the one in the image above as I can.
